We worked with Kwik Kopy Hilton to create a progressive new school website and tell a story spanning 137 years.
The design team at Kwik Kopy Hilton, headed up by Creative Director, Sarah Anesbury, works with their clients to provide creative solutions across print, digital and everything in between. St Dominic’s Priory College in Adelaide recently engaged the team to develop new branding and assets, including a completely new website - and that’s where we came in! When Sarah asked us to work with her to build the new website, we jumped at the chance to develop such a significant new site from scratch.
St Dominic’s Priory College has a long and proud history of providing quality education to girls and empowering them to go out into the world with confidence. They needed a website that communicated this and matched their progressive educational offering.
With such a long and rich history, St Dominic’s had a big story to tell. The written content needed to appeal to multiple target audiences with a focus on ease of navigation and succinct messaging.
We developed a UX focused site map and SEO strategy targeting the multiple audiences who would be using the site for different purposes. We wrote the copy for the 60+ page site, developing a brand voice for the school that reflected their rich heritage and progressive ethos.
More and more people are browsing on the go, with 55% of web traffic coming from mobile phones. With so many mobile users, we wanted the St Dominic's site to look great on all screens. We worked with Kwik Kopy’s designs to build a stunning mobile experience, testing it across all device types and major browsers.
The project also involved optimising page speed, building custom forms and a newsletter archive.
All the websites we build for our clients support Internet Explorer. However, for our own site, we've chosen to use modern code which doesn't natively support IE.
